In June, HBCSD implemented a district-wide keyboarding program to build typing capacity in our students.  Proficiency in this area is embedded in the Common Core standards and building a student's ability increases brain power by moving them from thinking about each letter in a word as they type to being able to think full ideas and express them quickly through typing.
